Heartlight is the annual fund-raising event for Agape Child & Family Services, a Christian-based organization that provides children and families with healthy homes through community restoration, services to the homeless, mentoring, foster child care, adoption services, maternity services and counseling. Billed as the “Home Field Advantage,” Heartlight 2010 was held at AutoZone Park, Oct. 23, and showed attendees first-hand how Agape is going to bat for children and families all over Memphis. Through ticket sales and sponsorships, Heartlight 2010 raised more than $325,000, helping Agape hit more home runs with continued support of the nonprofit’s programs and services.
