Old School Wisdom
For the New Economy
I’ve worn many hats through my decades-long career: Web and graphic designer, writer, creative director, user experience director, visionary leader and most recently, strategic advisor. I have built, inspired and transformed high-performing teams with a track record of producing results. I have a knack for making the complex simple, cutting through the clutter to quickly find the core issue that needs attention. Most importantly, I’ve developed sound judgement, insight and holistic thinking that never become obsolete but only improve with time.
A Bit About Me
For 22 years, I owned and operated a successful communication design studio. After developing a strong foundation in strategic marketing solutions and brand strategies with for-profit clients, I began focusing on corporate social responsibility and cause marketing, as well as brand development and fundraising for nonprofit clients. My desire to do truly meaningful work led me in 2012 to join the nation’s largest healthcare nonprofit where I grew a small digital creative team into a mature, audience-centered user experience practice that now pervades the institution. To remain fresh, I still take on the occasional side project for smaller nonprofits and businesses desiring to make a difference in the world.
